The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are excellent too as the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only drawback is that it can smash into walls and other objects at a high speed, but just a glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and the obstacles it's run into or avoided. The docking station has a handy LCD screen that displays when maintenance is needed like emptying the debris and washing the dirty water tank. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank, by using a 600ml bottle filled with eufy's own solution. Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. Its sleek, angular style is attractive and it has just three physical buttons: the power button, that also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-filling. The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. The app is easy to use and intuitive The X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are easy to configure. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps and control mopping settings. The X40 will also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
